If you face these challenges or would like to learn some skills to share with those who do, please feel free to come to this two-day course to learn some paradigms and practice some skills that can help.\n\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Some of what will be covered will be<\/span>:\n\n\u2022 How meditation can help cultivate a mind that is more focused, concentrated, stable, and collected\n\n\u2022 How meditation can help turn agitation, anxiety, restlessness, and impatience into ease, calm, steadiness, and self-soothing \n\n\u2022 The freedom of being aware of a wild, scattered, tangled, busy mind as it is, without trying to discipline it, to create spaciousness, ease, and clarity\n\n\u2022 How meditation can help to cultivate self-friendliness and self-compassion\n\n\u2022 Taking breaks during the day to be mindful and recharge one's mental batteries\n\n\u2022 How mindfulness can help to stay aware and snap out of hyperfocus\n\n\u2022 How mindfulness can help make all experiences more rich, interesting, and fulfilling\n\n\u2022 The value of mindfully doing one thing at a time, and how that leads to greater productivity\n\n\u2022 How mindful interpersonal presence practice can create more comfort and openness around others\n\n\u2022 General ADHD life skills\n\nThe information in the classes will be useful also to people without ADHD who would like to understand people with ADHD in their life, as well as all people wanting to deepen their understanding and practice of meditation.<\/a>\n\n\n\n\n<!-- h3><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Meditation For Insomnia and Better Sleep\n<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nI will be leading my \"Meditation for Insomnia and Restful Sleep\" course in two weeks, Sat Nov 13th and Sun Nov 14ths, 11:30a-1:30p Pacific Time both days. The course involves exploring use of awareness, visualization, and mindfulness to soothe insomnia and ease into restful sleep.  I have taught the course many times in recent years, to positive reviews, and have honed it to a useful, calming, clear curriculum.\n\nSaturday will have a paradigms and information about how meditation can help with better sleep, as well as practicing the techniques of relaxing elongation of the breath and progressive relaxation of the body.
